Born the 10th of May 1947 in Winterswijk, the Netherlands
1966-1973: After secondary school he studies at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (NL). During this study he is confronted with all the graphic techniques and specially lithography intrigued him so much that from that moment on he clinged to it.
1972: Silver medal “PRIX DE ROME” in graphic art, Amsterdam.
1973-1979: Lives and works in Paris at the “Cité Internationale des Arts”. He was invited to mount a lithographic workshop for this institution and was responsible for it up till ‘79
1979: Lives and works in the Netherlands. Also teaching lithography at the academy of visual arts “Minerva” and gives workshops lithography at “De klassieke Academie” in Groningen.
